COMMUNITY COWORKERS
How to deal with the work from home conundrum
Problems for isolated business owners include:
-
Not part of a workplace community
-
Skills and personal development training can be difficult
-
Reduced opportunities to maintain networks and find new clients
-
Lack of collaborative opportunities
Community coworking spaces are an important avenue to support small business and address workplace isolation

Community Coworkers
We want to create coworking communities in the suburbs. These spaces should be innovative and inspirational places for small business owners to meet, learn and share.
Regular communal lunches, networking opportunities, yoga/wellness sessions, professional development seminars and happy hours will facilitate a sense of workplace community.
Data shows that addressing workplace isolation and loneliness of the self employed will also increase chance of business survival and connect diverse and otherwise disparate community members.
Come for the space but stay for the community
